THE POWER OF PRINT

The Benefits of Portraits In the Home on Children

Allison is passionate about displaying family portraits in homes because she honestly believes it is essential to remind our children how important they are and how much they are treasured in this world.  Creating a home environment that makes our kids feel safe, loved and valued is essential to surviving the chaotic world our kids must navigate everyday and portraits are a large factor in creating a nuturing home.

"Displaying photos prominently in the home sends the message that our family and those in it are important to one another, and we honor the memories we have experienced,“ says Cathy Lander-Goldberg, a licensed clinical social worker.  “It says we love you and care about you. You’re important.”

Family portraits in the home have proven to help kids increase self esteem by reminding them that they are connected to something bigger then themselves.  When we display our family and children's portraits prominantely in our home we are sending a message to our children that they are the most important people in our lives.

"If you want to change the world, go home and love your family."- Mother Teresa
